Product Description
25cm Cuttings Golden willow is a tall tree which can grow to 30m. Year old twigs are its most distinguishing characteristic as are bright yellow or orange making them very conspicuous in winter. Thrives in wet conditions and variety of soil types, full sun or part shade. The strong flexible rods are excellent for basketry. Ideal for hedges or to enhance winter landscape.

I bought cuttings of seven different willows from Yorkshire Willow. They arrived promptly and well packaged. They were also a generous size. I potted them up and five of them came in to leaf relatively quickly and are doing well. However the leaves of this salix only appeared recently ie some months after planting up. So be patient and give it time, not something you think will be needed with willow. I am interested to see how it grows on

So pleased to have found this company who sold these golden willow cuttings. Amazed that the cuttings started to shoot leaves almost immediately, even though I have placed them amongst other trees to fill gaps so they do not get any sunshine. I am watering them in this dry weather and they are looking very healthy.

The Willow arrived well packed, in beautiful condition with lots of new shoots ready for planting, weather permitting.
Its also labelled which made identification easier.
