Product Description
25cm Cuttings. Salix Triandra or Almond Leaved Willow is a small bushy tree or robust spreading shrub that can reach 8m. One of the most attractive and fragrant willows and is being used more frequently as a garden shrub. Owing to its dark maroon-black new growth and very bright autumn colours it is highly ornamental. It is also ideal for hedging, and living willow structures. Full sun to part shade, thrives with regular watering and will tolerate wide range of soil types. Stems darker than other Triandra varieties.

success rate of over 99% is excellent

Out of 120 cuttings (12 varieties), all but one are growing lustily, even though we had no rain for six weeks in April and May. A success rate of over 99% is excellent, in my view, and a testament to the high quality of your material.

Bought willow cuttings for a planting project with a delivery date for the planting event several months in advance. Delivery and organisation without a hitch and the willow rods beautiful and all taken!

Willow for weaving and biomass

We were looking to start a willow grove with a variety of colours, so bought 3 cuttings from a selection of 8 types, plus 10 hybrid biomass willows. They arrived quickly, and we followed the instructions to plant them, mulching around with cardboard and grass cuttings. Several of them had leaves within a week, and 6 weeks later the strike rate is 100%! Really looking forward to seeing the full impact of the stem colours over the next seasons.

Great shop for willow of all types. Managed to buy some to grow for this year. Hopefully will see some shoots in the next few months. Nicely packaged and with an information leaflet.
